Named for the occurrence at Dushan, Nanyang City, Henan Province, China.
A Mixture Of:
A classic Chinese "jade", composed mainly of anorthite and zoisite with minor hornblende and variable amounts of a number of accessory minerals such as chrome-bearing micas, chromian epidote, prehnite, titanite, tourmaline and volkonskoite, which impart various shades of green colours. Dushan Jade is one of the most famous jades in China.
