First Recorded Locality:
Named in 1959 by B. A. Makarochkin as niobian variety of chevkinite. Originally from fenitised granitic pegmatite of Mine #378 of Ilmen Mineralogical Reserve. The material contain up to 7.40 wt.% of Nb2O5.
