About Whitneyite
Arsenic-bearing variety of copper. High arsenic content (up to 11.5% As) in initial description was connected with some intimately associated Algodonite. Modern microprobe analyses of homogeneous As-bearing copper shows contents in the range 1.5-6.6 mass% As.
