Name:
In allusion to its alleged tin (Latin "STANNum") content and relationship to microlite.
The stannomicrolite species of Ercit et al. (1987) [“sukulaite” of Vorma & Siivola (1967)] is oxystannomicrolite. The stannomicrolite of Uher et al. (2008) is a calciomicrolite or a zero valent dominant member of the microlite group.
