Name:
Named after Umberto Sborgi (1883 - 1955), Professor of Chemistry, University of Milano, Italy. He published solubility data on the Na2O−B2O3−H2O system.
A synthetic dimorph is known (Timper et al., 1990).
An anhydrous analogue is also known (Menchetti & Sabelli, 1978).
