Synonym:
A synonym of Euxenite-(Y)
Metamict (X-ray amorphous) mineral that is mainly found in pegmatites. Polycrase-(Y) has been discredited, as it is identical to euxenite-(Y), and the latter mineral has historical priority.
May be confused with aeschynite-(Y), which has a similar composition and may be partly metamict, depending on its U and Th contents.
