Name:
First described as a new mineral by Igelström (1883). The holotype material and other specimens of ‘elfstorpite’ was investigated by powder X-ray diffraction and chemical analysis, and found that it was indistinguishable from allactite (Fontan et al 2004). Elfstorpite is now descredited.
