Name:
Named for its type locality, the Nakase gold mine, Honshu Island, Japan.
Orginally reported from Nakase mine (Nakaze mine), Yabu-gun, Hyogo Prefecture, Kinki Region, Honshu Island, Japan, when it was described as a new species. Now considered to consist of a Cu-substituted random stacking of quatrandorite and senandorite.
