     Not sure I understand your question about geo-located.  I beleve all of these are posted in my photo gallery which includes locales.  I had not included all in my personal catalog - thus updating.  At 89 years young, I have been collecting for 73 years with  A  lot of uncataloged minerals.  I agree all should be posted in the Database. My energy level only allows to do a few at a time.
     No one has seen most of my 73 year collection except mysel and a now deceased cat.  Thus enjoy sharing with others!  Thanks!  .......Hal P

The Wavellite is not linked .. yet !!

     I've attempted to post this image.  For some reason it will not allow me to enter a locale. I type the locale in  an it reponds wilh None.  All else works fine except can't enter without locale. ......Hal P

You should be able to get around that by entering the location number in the locality field.

If you are uploading a photo from scratch, it is easier to use the upload photo option from the locality page (locality is automatically chosen)
