Comments:The Kajlidongri mine is generally considered the type locality for winchite. However, the mineral published as winchite by Fermor (1906) and Leake et al. (1986) has Fe3+>> Al so that the type material of "winchite" is in reality ferri-winchite. See ferri-winchite for further details.
