Comments:Properly identified yttrocerite contains some yttria. However, a common practice in the nineteenth century was to call all dark purple fluorite by the name "yttrocerite". No chemical analyses of this mineral are known from Bolton and it is uncertain if it were found in the marble or in pegmatite float boulders and the name seems to be incorrectly used.
