Comments:Granular pink to tan aggregates, with poor crystals in vugs in altered lithiophilite with hureaulite, hydroxylapatite and groutite. Masses up to 4 inches have been reported. Such rhodochrosite grades into siderite. Rarely, little bright pink cleavages have been seen with lithiophilite. An overgrowth on yellow calcite is a unique item. In a single instance, 1/8 inch euhedral deep pink crystals were found in a vug of albite.
