Comments:"Ankerite is of major importance within the quartz veins and may easily be mistaken for dolomite. A continuous series between those two minerals is very likely in the quartz veins. Slightly deformed, reddish-brown rhombohedra, deposited later than dolomite, are probably ankerite."
