Resembles apophyllite. First described as Unknown # 4 in DeMark (1984), later identified as lovdarite by Peter Modreski (DeMark 1989). Petersen et al (2002) mention in their study on lovdarite from Ilimaussaq a very small sample from Point of Rocks with aggregates and crystals that they found to be visually identical with lovdarite from Illimaussaq. It had also optical properties (optical sign and orientation) that corresponds to the published data of the Lovozero lovdarite.
