Comments:Amazonite from the Landsverk 1 is probably the best found in Norway. The colour can be very intense green, and large pieces are used for cutting cabochons.

In the past many tons of cutting-grade have been mined. A lot of the material was exported to the gemstone industry in Idar-Oberstein, Germany.
