| Comments: | Possible stilbite. A sample of an unknown zeolite was found the 9.08.2001 by Ove Karlsvik, a Norwegian collector. It was analyzed as levyn by T. Kerestdjian, Bulgaria 3.08.2002. How the analysis were done is not known (pers. communication from Ove Karlsvik to Knut Edvard Larsen 6.08.2002, cfr Larsen (2003). However visual examination of the zeolite does not shows the morphology of levyn, but points more to stilbite. The geological encvironment also makes the identification of levyn suspicious. Later it was also showed to be a misidentification, cfr Kvamsdal (2023) | |
