Beryl crystals to 2 feet (60 cm) across have been found. Crystals usually less than 15 cm long. Color zoning in large crystals typically consists of colorless to rose externally, with pale green cores. Commonly frozen in quartz and associated with fluorapatite, cleavelandite, elbaite. Some pocket gem material.
