Comments:As subhedral crystals or masses to several cm from the intermediate cleavlandite-rich zones; as intergrowths with garnet and/or blue elbaite. Schooner (circa 1990) reports that "a few large flattened crystals have been found, often embedded in massive garnet; a strange blue variety, embedded in lepidolite, was X-rayed for confirmation."
