Comments:Shannon (1920) reports "Occasional crystals of muscovite, which occur in the cleavelandite, are penetrated by flat opaque crystals of green tourmaline." These can be very aesthetic specimens. Cameron et al (1954) note the presence of muscovite books 2 to 18 inches broad and ¼ to 4 inches thick in wall zone of the pegmatite, which was the focus of WWII-era mining.
