Identified by visual obnservations and wet chemical analysis (acid test). May be confused with anglesite crystals here; but anglesites tend to be glass-clear - not turbid to creamy white - and are usually (but not always) more blocky.

Multiple habits - thin to medium thick tabular micro-crystals with chisel shaped terminations and edge faces - not rectangular or square; some approach being acicular. Twinning observed includes somewhat heart-shaped "fishtail" twins, more typical "fisht
Colour:
Turbid transluscent - not glass-clear - to creamy white, sometimes the white crystals may have a tannish tinge.
