Quoting the reference, "Hisingerite has been found only as a thin, black to reddish-brown, glassy coating with an oily luster on joint-crack surfaces in the dense black Saddleback Basalt. The occurrence was found at the foundation footings of the primary ore crusher in the bottom of the open pit."
