Comments:The hand specimen is relatively homogeneous, without distinct layering and dominated by up to 5 mm sized green omphacite blades and smaller red garnet idioblasts set in a groundmass of kyanite, paragonite, zoisite laths and quartz. Accessories are phengite, hornblende, rutile and pyrite and as inclusion phases clinozoisite and albite.
