Analysis of one sample of anthophyllite (the brownish orthoamphibole mineral) from Kjennerudvann has shown this not to be anthophyllite, but gedrite/sodic gedrite. Further investigations is in progress to establish if anthophyllite exist at the typelocality or not. (Kullerud et al. 2019).
