Comments:The vast majority of phlogopite documented from this locality is likely fluorophlogopite. SEM-EDS analysis confirmed end-member phlogopite from a complex, fluorite-rich pegmatite. Most other phlogopites from the locality have enough of a fluorine content to constitute a fluorophlogopite. End-member phlogopite is extremely rare.
