Comments:The reference for ferronigerite-2N1S is from 1965 and it's unclear which local mine was sampled. The author's analysis is of ferronigerite, however (although not done with modern in-situ methods). Nonetheless, newer EPMA data show zinconigerite-2N1S is present from the Seixoso mine. So even if both species are present, they would not appear to be distinguishable from hand sample properties alone. So ID should ideally be "ferronigerite-2N1S/zinconigerite-2N1S series" in lieu of analytical data confirming one or the other end-member. EPMA analyses on purported ferronigerite-2N1S from this specific mine would be valuable to confirm the presence of the species at this locality. (FKM)
