Ooblets Farming Guide

Farming is one of the main parts of Ooblets, and it can be a daunting task to start (especially if you're a fresh face to simulation games). Don't worry though, we got you. Keep scrolling to read our top farming tips for Ooblets so you can become the ultimate gaming farmer.

Tend to Your Farm

Your farm is your child. You gotta be a great plant parent and make it a priority to you! Keep your crops hydrated. Check on them multiple times a day, because you'll have to clear all the debris and weeds that form on your produce and Ooblet seeds. It may sound like a lot of work, but you also get rewarded while doing it--sometimes you'll find Gummies, Oobsidian, or more plant seeds once you clear up your farm. 

Sprinklers and Oobcoops are Your Best Friends

Make one of your early goals to purchase a Sprinkler or an Oobcoop, because both will automatically water nearby crops and take a load of farmwork off your back.

There are three types of Sprinklers: Basic, Medium, and Good. Try to focus on collecting the ingredients for the Medium and Good Sprinklers because they cover a decent area of your farm (3x3 and 5x5 respectively).

Oobcoops all operate in a 3x3 area, and they do a little more than just water plants. Once you have an Ooblet assigned to an Oobcoop they have the power to boost crop growth speed, remove debris, rocks, and logs. There are different tiers with different abilities. Note that ooblets will only tend to the plots of land in their immediate 3x3 area, so be sure to put crops that take more care in their plots of land.

If you happen to have any Gleamy Ooblets, let them live in your Oobcoop. It may be sad without them by your side, but if a Gleamy Ooblet is in an Oobcoop it has a higher chance of producing Oobsidian (the rarest substance in the game).

Having Sprinklers and Oobcoops on your farm expedites the process, making your one-person-farm ridiculously efficient.

Use Wooden Paths! You Don't Have to Walk on Dirt

Wooden Paths allow you to run on your farm without exerting any extra energy. They are a must have for any farm! Gather some Planklets from around town or your backyard and head over to Manatwee in the center of town and boot up the Fabricutor. Once you're on the machine's recipe menu select Wooden Path, and make a bunch of them. They only cost 2 planklet each, so you can craft a sizeable load for you to use whenever. I recommend placing them around your land after you've got all of your Oobcoops and Sprinklers in position so you don't mess up your farm's rhythm.

Once you're done, walk around your farm peacefully and just take it all in. You're building something cool, and now you can do it even quicker with Wooden Paths under your feet.
