Eligibility Criteria for EIL MT 2026

Qualification: Full-time B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) with minimum 65% marks (or equivalent CGPA) from AICTE/UGC-recognized institutes.

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2026):

• General: 25 years
• OBC (NCL): 28 years
• SC/ST: 30 years
• PwD (General): 35 years
• PwD (OBC-NCL): 38 years
• PwD (SC/ST): 40 years

Important Notes on Eligibility:

• Only 2025 & 2026 pass-outs are eligible (2024 or earlier NOT eligible).
• Final-year students (April–June 2026 exams) can apply if they meet 65% till last declared result.
• OBC-NCL certificate must be valid as on 13.04.2026.

Selection Process for EIL Management Trainee 2026

1. GATE 2026 Score (mandatory)
2. Shortlisting based on GATE-2026 performance
3. Group Discussion (GD) + Personal Interview at Delhi/Gurugram

Step-by-Step Application Process for EIL Recruitment 2026

2. Go to “Recruitment of Management Trainees” section.
3. Choose MT-Construction OR MT-Other than Construction.
4. Complete New Registration → Note your Registration Number.
5. Enter correct GATE-2026 Registration Number.
6. Upload scanned documents (max size mentioned):
   • Passport photo (75 KB)
   • Signature (25 KB)
   • Caste/EWS/PwD certificate (500 KB)
   • Percentage conversion certificate (if needed)

Stipend, Pay Scale & CTC for EIL 2026

Stipend during Training: ₹60,000 per month

• Free Accommodation & Transport OR ₹15,000 additional if accommodation & transport not provided
• Pay Scale on Absorption (as Engineer): ₹60,000 – 1,80,000

CTC on Absorption:

• Construction: Approx. ₹21.00 Lakh per annum
• Other than Construction: Approx. ₹20.10 Lakh per annum
