Scientist healing thing
I can't quite remember but I thought that if you were low on health and interacted with a doctor they'd pull out a syringe and give you some health. I can't remember ever seeing that in my game but I'm not sure

They have to be following you, but yes.

You press and hold the 'Use' key while looking at them

I think you can not have more than 30% health.

i think you had to be low health to use that feature (even on half life source)

It's very useful in the harder modes as the health stations only have 25 points in them.

Speedrunners also love them because it takes much less time than getting 20-30 HP from the station.
