表現できる場所を探し求めて/A place where I can express my feelings

日本語:

自分の気持ちを表現できる場所を探していて、noteで書くことにしました。Twitter（X）は5年以上使っていたけど、最近はちょっと疲れていました。

Twitterには確かに面白い利点があります。ツイートへの反応が早く、フォロワーとのコミュニケーションも楽しめます。これらの反応も楽しんでいました。でも、早い反応のせいで、自分もできるだけ早く更新しなきゃって焦るようになってしまったんです。たぶん無理しすぎだったんだろうけど、そうしないと気が済まなかった私もいました。逆にnoteはTwitterと比べて反応が遅い。使い始めたのは数日前だから、まだよくわかってないんだけどね。このゆっくりなペースのおかげで、書く前にじっくり考える時間が持てるようになりました。

英語で書き始めることにしたから、ハッシュタグの使い方がどうなのかも悩んでいます。Twitterとは違うのかも。それとも、Twitterと比べて考えるのはやめた方がいいのかな。

長い記事を書くのは、英語力を向上させるのに役立つと思います。それに、テーマ、本文、結論といった文章構成力も磨いていきたいです。

日記なのかエッセイなのか迷うときは、両方のハッシュタグを使うことにしてみます。以前、違いについて読んだことがあるんだけど、日記は個人的な感情に焦点を当てて、エッセイは意見を表明して他の人と共有することを目的とするんだそうです。似てるけど、書き方自体は違う気がする。説明するのが難しいんだけどね。

今日はここまで。できるだけ更新を続けられたらいいなと思います。

英語日記:

Searching for a place where I can express my feelings, I decided to write on note. I used the Twitter (X) for probably more than five years. However, I kind of got tired of using it.

Twitter actually had interesting benefits. You could have quick response to your tweet and enjoy communicating with your followers. I did enjoy using these features. These quick responses sometimes made me force to update as soon as possible. I was maybe forcing myself too much, but I felt like I needed to do that.

Compared to Twitter, note's response is slower. I started just a few days ago, so I might not know how this works yet. The slow pace gives me time to think what I want to write. 

Since I have decided to try writing in English, I also am wondering how I should use the hashtags. It might work differently compared to Twitter. Or I should stop comparing with it.

Writing long articles will help me improve my English skills. I also hope I can improve my writing skills such as thinking of main idea, body paragraphs, and conclusion. 

Whenever I get confused whether I'm writing a diary or an essay, I will use both hashtags. I read about the difference in the past. Diary focus on personal feelings. In comparison,  essay focus on expressing opinions and share them with others. They are similar, but I feel that the process of writing is different. It's difficult to explain.

Well, this is all for today. I hope I can continue updating as much as I can.
