英語の勉強(Are you wise, kind, considerate?)

I was looking for information about some places, so I searched on Google and found a few articles. As I read them, I was grateful for the information, but I noticed that some of the sites were using many photos taken by other people. Some writers clearly state the copyright and include links, but others do not.

I don't understand how this is acceptable, because those photos are the result of someone else's creativity and effort. In addition, most of the photos being used were originally posted on portal sites or company websites, so it's reasonable to assume that those pages, including the photos, were produced with a certain budget. I imagine the creators wanted to publish original articles with original photos, so they should be treated as something special. Do people who use others' photos without a second thought think the photos online are all free and that they can download and upload them without permission?

Almost everyone wants, more or less, to be recognized for what they do, even if they work anonymously. I think that's natural, because we are all animals, and we are programmed to make efforts to attract others in order to protect ourselves and pass on our lives to the future - maybe.

If you want to be recognized, you should make utmost efforts and also recognize the efforts of others. Don't just steal other people's work. I'm not a legal expert, so I'm not completely sure, but you might even have to pay compensation - such as damages or royalties - for using them without permission.

I think you should take your own photos if you want to express something through photography, even if they are not very good at first. Or, if you can't prepare or purchase photos yourself, it's fine not to use them at all. It's okay if they're not perfect, because you will improve if you keep trying. Enjoy the process of growing and getting better. You may not be a professional now, but with effort, you can become much more skilled.

Original creators continue to be exploited by novices, and those who keep copying without permission will never learn the law and will go on harming the creators they copy from.

I think it's considerate for both the person who stole the content and the person whose work was stolen to report copyright infringements to the appropriate authorities or rights holders, such as companies, web services, or the original creators. I also want lawyers to provide support to victims when they need it.

We should follow the law so that we can respect each other and live safely and peacefully. We need to keep learning with humility, and if we make mistakes - as everyone does - we should correct them as soon as we notice. Otherwise, many people may think we are unwise, unkind, or inconsiderate.
