Genre doesn't really matter to me now. What I love are stories that know the power of a single second. A lingering stare, a silent pause, or a tiny change in atmosphere can say more than a whole speech. I like stories that build slowly and don't spell everything out. They trust you to feel it. The quiet ones always stay with me the longest.
