Apache HBase is an open-source non-relational distributed database modeled after Googleâs Bigtable and written in Java. Itâs useful for random, real-time read/write access to Big Data. The projectâs goal is the hosting of huge tables â billions of rows X millions of columns â atop clusters of commodity hardware.

Starting with version 3.0.0, the requirement has been updated to JDK 17. Support for JDK 8 and JDK 11 has been dropped.
You must pick a supported release of Hadoop as per the compatibility matrix.
No releases are scheduled in advance.
