    Summary

    Description
English: Albertosaurus is a large tyrannosaurid dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous of what is now Canada. It was a large bipedal carnivore with two fingers on each hand, typical of derived tyrannosaurs. Above the eyes, Albertosaurus had a pair of crests, likely for sexual display. Albertosaurus grew to about 9 m in length, and up to approximately 3 t in total body mass.
